Education & Career Highlights

I hold a degree in Masters in Public Administration and Bachelor's in Banking and Finance, and also have a Freelancing Course Certificate, all of which have equipped me with a strong foundation in business operations and digital freelancing. Additionally, I have a Certification in Project Management, further enhancing my ability to lead and streamline complex projects.

With over 10 years of experience in administration, customer service, freelancing, project management, and mentoring, I’ve developed a versatile skill set working with CEOs, Founders, and Managing Directors across industries. Now, I’m leveraging my expertise to help aspiring VAs build thriving businesses and create the career and lifestyle they deserve.

My Blueprint to VA Success

How I Turned Challenges into a Career I Love

Before diving into freelancing, I spent a year working in a bank, followed by almost 9 years in the BPO industry. In 2015, I transitioned into government service. However, with three kids and a growing need for extra income, I realized I needed to find a side job.

I began as an ESL teacher, teaching English to Chinese students. But due to scheduling challenges, I soon realized I needed more flexibility. That’s when I discovered the world of Virtual Assistance (VA), and everything changed.

In March 2018, I enrolled in a Freelancing Course. By May 2018, I secured a full-time position with a VA Agency, where I was soon endorsed to a client based in Tustin, CA. That same year, we renovated our house in preparation for our move.

CHALLENGES AND GROWTH

At the start of my freelancing journey, I didn’t even have a high-tech laptop. I had to use an old one and eventually took out a loan to buy a new one. This was a big challenge, but it didn’t stop me—it fueled my determination to build a successful career in freelancing.

In August 2018, I landed my second client, a part-time position with a company based in Las Vegas, NV, through OnlineJobs. This was the beginning of a journey filled with new opportunities.

In April 2019, I had the privilege of attending a meet-and-greet with BPSG clients and other Filipino VAs at the Manila Hotel, all expenses paid by the client. Just a few months later, in July 2019, I was promoted to "Specialist" by BPSG, and my husband was also hired for an IT position, receiving a desktop set with dual monitors as a gift.

By October 2019, I secured my third client, working part-time in SEO and General Virtual Assistance. In November 2019, I attended another meet-and-greet, this time with my second client, Rank Club, with all expenses covered by the client.

PASSION FOR EMPOWERMENT

Over the years, my journey has ignited a passion for helping others, especially women, achieve their goals. My experiences navigating freelancing, managing my career while balancing family life, and overcoming challenges have all shaped my mission to empower others. I’m now driven to help women start and scale their own VA careers, guiding them to the same freedom, flexibility, and fulfillment that I’ve achieved.

As my freelancing career progressed, our family experienced significant milestones. In 2020, we invested in our second house and lot. By 2021, we purchased an L300 Van as a gift for my father and launched a trucking business. In 2022, we acquired a second L300 Van. By 2023, we had expanded our investments—acquiring a 120 sqm commercial lot, moving into our second home, renting out our first property for additional income, and welcoming even more blessings along the way."

Today, I continue to enjoy freelancing, meeting the financial needs of my family, and supporting my parents. It’s been a rewarding journey, and I’m here to help you create your own path to success!
